Organisation Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions accepted by “The Organisation” subscribing to CanPro’s  free online services provided on the Maru.community application

I understand and acknowledge that the following services are provided on Maru.community by CanPro, free of charge:


  1. Set up the “organisation” on maru.community to enable the following activities to be delivered by the Organisation online:
    • Publish news & information
    • Register events
    • Support their members by listing local businesses and personal needs
    • Receive and respond to personal messages from members
    • Accessing online content and services as provided by CanPro
    • Access to any other online services as provided by CanPro
  2. Provide training and support as required.
  3. Provide dully authorised representative access to the Content Management System (CMS) to upload events & news, edit & publish uploads of members as well as respond to messages from members.
  4. Provide a live dashboard to monitor members usage of the platform.


I agree that the Organisation I am representing is able to and committed to execute the following activities free of charge to afford it access to Content Management System functions on Maru.community:


  1. Attend initial training to optimally utilize the services on maru.community.
  2. DAILY:
    • Upload relevant news article and/or information and/or events to ensure users return to view new content.
    • Respond to member’s messages to ensure personal engagement.
    • Promote, edit & publish posts (businesses or needs) uploaded by members.
  3. WEEKLY
    • Provide a minimum of 15 min training session/s to members as part of your weekly events to ensure 80% of members are continuously trained to competently use existing and new services on maru.community. Users should be able to a) view news b) register for events c) upload and/or search for local businesses d) upload their needs and identify who they can help e) submit a message to the organisation f) view content and g) use an online service
    • View the live dashboard to monitor % of members trained, % of returning users, number of registrations per event, needs of community, popular content, and types of messages.
    • Engage with the facilitator to report & address challenges including internet access and related services
  4. MONTHLY
    • Attend training on new services and other developments.


Terms of Agreement


In order for the Organisation to access to the Content Management Services and live dashboard, it must on a continuous basis deliver on ALL activities within TWO weeks of signing the agreement.


Canpro will provide facilitators to monitor progress remotely and provide support where possible to assist The Organisation to achieve their outcomes. 


The Organisation shall timeously inform CanPro facilitators when they are not available to render normal services. 

If the Organisation fail to deliver against specified activities and targets, CanPro can terminate the Organisation’s account and associated access to the CMS. Individual users may be allowed to continue to access maru.community.


CanPro has the right to remove any content posted by The Organisation or its members if deemed inappropriate or illegal. 


CanPro has the right to terminate the Organisation or associated members access if they abuse the application in any way.


The parties agree that the Organisation’s representatives are not employed by CanPro nor can the Organisation claim any benefits apart from free maru.community online services specified as part of this agreement.

Any intellectual property developed including data collected as a result of this agreement shall vest in CanPro (Pty) Ltd.
